The Legacy Remediation Team wrapping up a Direct Push Injection of 7% Sodium Permanganate (Carus RemOx L) at a former metal plating facility in Orange County, CA.
We used a Geoprobe 7822DT to advance our Direct Push Tooling
All of our mix water came from an onsite 4" Monitoring Well. The Aquifer and our 3” submersible pump was easily able to keep up with the water demand as we were injecting into 3 simultaneous points.
One of the Injection Points were located within a full storage yard, for this location we used a Geoprobe 420M Dolly Rig. For an extra measure of safety we are hand clearing the first 5 feet prior to tool advancement with a a standard 3.25" OD Hand Auger Bucket.
Due to onsite safety and security, all reagents and equipment were mobilized and demobilized daily. Teamwork and experience made the daily set-up and breakdown a breeze.
