This week the Legacy Team wrapped up 3/4" PVC Monitoring Well Installations, followed by 2% Potassium Permanganate (Carus RemOx S) injection into multiple 4" Injection Wells in the High Desert area.
We used one of our Geoprobe 7822 Direct Push Rigs to install the 3/4" Monitoring Wells.
The SVE system worked well cleaning up the Vadose Zone, now we are going after the GW contamination left behind at this former Dry Cleaner site.
The Potassium Permanganate (RemOx S) was provided by Carus Chemical.
We connected to the 4-inch Injection Wells with a slip type connector.
We used our newly installed 3/4" wells to monitor the injection performance by collecting periodic GW level readings, and by collecting GW samples looking for evidence of purple tint.
