For Veterans, there is a very close and personal connection with Memorial Day.
You have probably heard a Veteran say, “I wasn’t a hero, but I served with many of them.”
As a Veteran, no matter when or where you served, you attended far too many memorials of military service members taken far too young.
From the Marines' Hymn:
"If the Army and the Navy, ever look on Heaven's scenes; they will find the streets are guarded, by United States Marines."
We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable long weekend, as you honor and remember Veterans from all generations who "gave all" to help protect and defend the Freedoms we enjoy today.
