ISCO at small site in LA County

Updated: Mar 8, 2023

Last week the Legacy Team Safely completed a Direct Push In-Situ Remediation project in LA County, treating trace amounts of Gasoline and Diesel groundwater contamination near previously removed underground storage tanks (UST's).

Due to the small site footprint, we used our small injection trailer for this ISCO project.

The selected remediation chemistry was alkaline activated Klozur Sodium Persulfate provided by Evonik.

Since the site was so small, ISCO reagent storage was not available, so we coordinated daily HAZMAT courier deliveries of the chemicals.

The Direct Push Injection Tooling was advanced using one of our Geoprobe 7822 Direct Push Rigs.

Great job by the entire Legacy Team, who also finished the project 1 day ahead of schedule, resulting in cost savings to our client. #Safety#Quality#Performance
