The Legacy Team recently completed a DPT and Well injection of a 3% Potassium Permanganate mixture to treat Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) contaminated groundwater at an active retail shopping center parking lot.
Every job site has its own unique set of variables, some of which can have major effects on the flow of a project.
Legacy's strategic approach to this project kept the impact on the tenant low, and it kept the general public at a safe distance from our operations, while still maintaining safety standards, quality, and efficiency.
As seen in the photos to the left, our support truck and Injection Trailer were set up within temporary fencing fitted with a privacy screen. This setup helped us keep a low profile on site, and it kept the public clear of the chemical mixing and pumping operations.
The injection trailer and injection points were separated by a lightly traveled route road that remained open throughout the injections. This was made possible with the support of our multi-channel cross-over ramps, allowing the public to navigate the parking lot throughout the duration of the project.
Below are some additional images from the project.
The Legacy field team did a great job managing safety, quality and performance on this project. If you have any questions on this project, or if we can help support any of your current or upcoming projects, please contact us.
